Rift :The Interview

There has been a lot of talk about Telara's malleable world, which allows for developers to change the properties and appearance of the world on the fly. In the interview, Russ Brown gives some specific examples of how the developers are looking to take advantage of this technology to keep the game fresh to players saying, "Once you have the content like animations, I can tell the servers how they need to behave. Once you have a dragon, I can say ‚A Hey dragon, go attack over here. Hey dragon, go attack over there.

TERA : E3 Hands On With TERA

This past week at E3 we got to see a lot of MMOs. One of the more surprising titles we got to look at was TERA . I am more concerned about the visible result of the mounts and the cool appearance of them that satisfy the gamer’s needs rather than the ‘speed’ functionality which isn’t implemented until a later stage of the development process. On a design point of view however, illustrators will try to avoid the appearance of a slow mount, just because they are much cooler when they move quickly.
  Q:Some of the Mounts in TLBB are specifically designed for speed, others for looks, but each class boasts its own mount. How did you go about choosing the mount design for the specific classes?
  A:When we design mounts for classes, we tend to know the features of the classes first. Knowing this makes it a smoother process when choosing the most suitable class mount. There’s no specific formula or reasoning behind the decision, we simply choose which we think will go best.
  Q:How much creative freedom do you have when designing these mounts? And how much of it follows a brief?
  A:Most of the mounts are creative freedom. Some of the mounts are designed with the intention of meeting gamers’ needs but most of them are from our own creative brushes which are in line with the feel, look and story of the game.

Runes of Magic Scaled Dungeon Coming in Next Update

Runes of Magic Gold players will have a new dungeon to play in when the next update goes live. Called "The Raksha Temple",TERA Gold, the dungeon will also allow players to choose a difficulty level when entering. The goal is to calm the awakened gods....and get stuff. Developers have stated that the harder the level, the better the rewards.
Legend tells of the Angren people, half-beast and half-human,Rift Gold, who were bestowed the Northern Janost Forest by King Kalume for their efforts in the war against the demons that were threatening Zandorya. However, upon settling in their new territory, the Angren were forced to fight against the deity of the forest, Raksha, who believed the Angren would destroy the forest for their settlement.
The conflict ended in an agreement that the half-beast,DCUO gold, half-men would not harm the forest, and they would assist the deity in protecting the forest against outsiders. In return, the protective god would accept them as part of the forest and place them under his protection while hiding in a sacred temple.

According to a new release from Runes of Magic Gold devs,Rom Gold, the newest zone addition,Dragon Oath Gold, The Northern Janost Forest,ROM gold, will debut on all servers in the next few weeks. MMORPG.com featured a look at the new zone last week in a Runes of Magic developer journal.
The new area will allow players to reach the level cap of 60 with the addition of a hundred new quests to guide players through the new content.
Adventurers must also help uncover the mystery of the dragon half-breeds in the ancient conflict between two sworn enemies - the Elves of Jyr’na and the Beastmen of Angren. On one side stand the Degenerated Elves, long since corrupted by a dark energy they had hoped to subdue. On the other side stand the Angren who are fighting for the survival of their people as the Elves are sucking the life power from their home land – the Northern Janost Forest.

Runes of Magic Mysteries of the Temple Revealed

The latest Runes of Magic Gold  update has gone live. Called "The Mystery of the Temple",Dragon Oath Gold, the update opens a new dungeon/instance and a new in-game event called The Juice Festival. The Raksha Temple allows groups of six to complete the instance on one of three difficulty levels, the firs time this has entered Runes of Magic. Also, new guild activities have been added.
Guilds haven’t been forgotten and are set to evolve further. New quests are available for their members on the guild quest boards in their home castle. These missions will allow them to gather the resources required to bring their castle to its next level,rom gold, granting a new marble-like appearance. Furthermore,TERA gold, players now have the ability to build new buildings on the four extra slots implemented outside the high walls of their fortress. Their members will also have the opportunity to enjoy two new guild mini-games, where they can test their dexterity to get interesting rewards.
